Yoga Nidra meditation (20 min)

Yoga Nidra is loosely translated as yogic sleep. It is not quite sleep; it is similar to the state of
consciousness we experience at the "gates of sleep." It is supreme relaxation and may be particularly beneficial during this unusually uncertain time in our history. We need radical self-care, and compassion for humanity. Yoga Nidra can help. Evidence shows it can be particularly beneficial for depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

Mindful Yoga practice (30min)
Theme: Regulate

This practice is good anytime of day but it is designed to be regulating/modulating for the nervous system meaning it can wake you up OR it can calm you down. For that reason,
I like it upon rising and/or nearing bedtime.
It is a very gentle practice suitable for just about everyone.

You can even do most
of it ​seated in a chair
​if you like.

Basic Yoga for Self-Regulation
Designed for our students with autism that have been used to doing a simple brief yoga practice each day. So they can continue to practice in the "learn at home" period. Enjoy!
